I first got areola reduction surgery. Now I am thinking about getting implants. Will my areola stretch?

Thank you for your question and for the photos. The areola is likely to stretch moderately after breast augmentation. However I agree with the colleague that the appearance of your breasts might be enhanced with an increase of volume, in proportion with the size of the areola. I would wait 12 months after the areola reduction to give the time to the scar to settle as much as possible before having surgery.All the best.Andrea Marando

It would be interesting to see your preops and how large the areola's were initially. The scars still look like they are maturing and I wouldn't consider augmentation until the scars have settled and healed. A breast augmentation is certainly an option although it may well stretch the areolas. You could choose to have the areolas reduced further or in fact a small lift at the same time as an augmentation but I think you should wait some time before deciding on which is the best way to proceed.
