Now my face looks fat and round. I modeled my entire life and am upset because I don' t photograph well. I spoke to my friend in Paris and she did it as well, but they did 200 lines for her ENTIRE face. Why are they using 800 lines? I was told by a French doctor, that I should have had 100 lines, max. Why do they insist on 800 lines? Is that why everyone is miserable on this site?
Answer: Ultherapy Initially after ultherapy it is not unusual to get a little plumping of the skin. As the swelling subsides, the shape of your face will return.800 lines is not unusual for full face. 200 lines is a very small amount. The more lines will typically give better results.Talk to your doctor if you have questions or concerns.

Answer: Ultherapy lines of treatment A full face treatment is typically 800 lines (and sometimes even higher than this depending upon the degree of skin laxity). The company has done extensive testing and found performing even in excess of this number of lines is still safe and would result in no side effects, as long as the procedure is performed properly. A 100 line treatment would be a very small number of lines, unless you were treating only a small area, such as the lower eyelids. Ulthera has found treating patients at lower energies with a higher number of lines results in better results and increased tolerability. This is the basis of the AMPLIFY protocol Ulthera introduced. I would recommend following up with your provider to address your concerns and review your before and after pictures. In the right hands, Ulthera is a safe procedure with great results.

Answer: 500 lines of energy with Ulthera? I was one of the first 30 docs who incorporated Ulthera in the USA. The initial recommendations were to do 300-400 lines of energy. That recommendation has steadily increased to 800 lines for mild to moderate aging at present. We have done as many as 2000 in select patients. Furthermore, I am a strong proponent of multiple modality non-surgical facial rejuvenation and I do routinely add volume restoration (Radiesse or Voluma), skin resurfacing (chemical peel, laser, IPL), Botulinum toxins, and, more recently, Kybella. These add-ones are designed to optimize my outcomes with the intent of achieving a true "Non-Surgical Face Lift". I have done numerous studies looking at different uses of Ukthera and I have spoken about Ulthera nationally and internationally since 2011. I mean no disrespect to whomever may be doing 100 line treatments but that is inadequate unless you are ONLY treating a small area, such as the brows. Properly done Ultherapy yields noticBle results in over 95% of our patients.
