Have you heard of (and do you perform) "shuttle lifting of the nose"?

It goes against everything I've learned in doing rhinoplasties for 36 years. You shouldn't ask a stitch to hold the nose up: you should do the work so the nose stays up without the pull of the stitch. This technique doesn't allow detailed work on the shape of the tip cartilages. You are at the mercy of the stitch for the height of the bridge. It makes the upper part of the nose, below the eyebrows, too prominent.
It's like all the skin care products. There are many reasons the tip of the nose is droopy which can be addressed with a closed rhinoplasty procedure by making all of the incisions placed on the inside of the nose. Rhinoplasty for the droopy tip is a very complicated procedure, so choose your surgeon based on extensive experience producing natural results from their rhinoplasty photo gallery. Digital computer imaging is also helpful to time of the consultation to understand what can and cannot be accomplished with a surgical procedure on your nose.
