I'm particularly dissatisfied with the length of my chin and size of my nostrils, but I am looking to make improvements in more minimal ways (preferably non-surgically), as I don't have thousands of dollars do spend. Are there any recommendations someone might have for non-surgical or minimal procedures I could look into?
Answer: I recommend a Rhinoplasty (Nosejob) Surgery | Facial Plastic Surgery | Expert | Revision | Non-Surgical | Filler | Liquid Rhino Hello and thank you for your question! Unfortunately even though non-surgical nosejobs are popular, they are ALMOST ALWAYS done on patients who are poor candidates for it, and who would have much better results with a proper surgical rhinoplasty. For your nose, with the prominent nasal bridge, high glabella (portion between your eyes), long length, and increased nostril show, you would actually be a perfect candidate for surgery. Filler to your nose would only make it appear larger and would not be balanced with the rest of your face. Many surgeons overlook key techniques that can otherwise soften the appearance of underlying structures, significantly improving tip symmetry and refinement, and resulting in beautiful and natural appearing results. These specialized maneuvers require a high level of expertise and experience, which most surgeons simply do not have. Given your history, an open septorhinoplasty would be the best approach to precisely reshape your nasal tip and nostrils, refine the bridge, adjust the size, and restore overall balance. In addition to reshaping your nose aesthetically, your septal cartilage (or an alternative graft material) would be used to create structural grafts, reinforcing key areas like the columella (the strip of tissue between your nostrils). This is crucial to maintaining long-term symmetry and preventing future distortions. Rhinoplasty is one of the most technically demanding procedures in all of plastic surgery—millimeters make all the difference. If a surgeon is only performing one or two rhinoplasties per month, they simply do not have the level of experience necessary to achieve the best possible result. Your nose defines your entire face—this is NOT a surgery to leave in the hands of just anyone. I have had extensive training in complex rhinoplasty, working under one of the highest-volume rhinoplasty surgeons in the world (who performs 1,000+ nose surgeries per year). If you’re serious about getting the best possible result, I’d be happy to see you for a consultation (Virtual or In-Person) where we can discuss your goals, perform a detailed examination, and create a customized plan for your ideal nose. I'm actually located right here in Los Angeles. I look forward to helping you achieve the refined, balanced nose you deserve! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: I don't believe there are good nonsurgical solutions. Embrace your strong chin that will keep your neck skin tight longer than most. I also think that you have a pleasing nasal profile appearance. I agree that you have a bit of a hanging columella and long nasal appearance. If you ever develop severe dissatisfaction with the appearance of your nose, please consider meeting with a reputable rhinoplasty specialist to discuss your options. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: Injectable Fillers may be Best Bet While it is difficult to make a full assessment from a single photo, it appears you have a lovely face that does not require any major changes. Injectable dermal fillers are an effective way to tweak the facial contour to adjust the size and proportion of your features to make them more aesthetically pleasing. Although injectable procedures are not surgical, they do require a great deal of precision and artistry to ensure a natural, beautiful result. Make sure the doctor you choose is both board certified and an expert in filler treatments to ensure you enjoy the best results possible.

Answer: Injectable treatments make subtle improvements to facial contour I appreciate your question. Unfortunately, I would need more than this single photo to make any specific treatment recommendations. I can tell you that injectable fillers are an effective way to perform subtle facial contouring without surgery. When strategically placed, these products can add volume and correct asymmetries. Treatment is relatively quick and there is no downtime afterward. Keep in mind that the results of filler treatments are only temporary. You will need to repeat your procedure periodically to maintain your results. Make sure you work with a board-certified doctor who has the expertise necessary to produce an optimal outcome.

Answer: Options for Improving the Facial Profile Thank you for your question. It is possible to enhance the facial contour without surgery - using strategically-placed dermal fillers to add subtle volume to key areas. That said, it is difficult to know whether this procedure would offer satisfactory results for you without seeing a few additional photos at different angles. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can assess you in person and determine whether injectable treatments can produce a good result or surgery is a better option. Make sure the surgeon you choose has extensive experience in both surgical and nonsurgical facial contouring to ensure your doctor has the qualifications necessary to tailor your procedure to your precise needs and goals.
