I have a very simple and unique approach to removing osteoma. I make a small incision behind the hairline then remove the osteoma by filing in off with a file used in rhinoplasty. I don’t know anyone else who does it that way. It takes half an hour and is done under local anesthesia. It works great and because of the simplicity it is also less expensive. About $2000 to $2500 compared to double that or more for endoscopic. as far as I know I’m the only one who does it this way so I have named it the Edelson procedure
This can be removed thru an incision at your hairline ;of in the hair. I do them either way depending on the size and location. Your will need Xrays first ato determine the depth.
This is something in which I specialize. We see many patients from California each week. That procedure can often be done "endoscopically" or with a very small incision to leave you with almost no sign that surgery happened. Alternatively, if necessary, it can often be combined with other procedures such as a brow lift or scalp repositioning (hairline adjustment).A photo of the area will be very helpful for more guidance.
