Eyebrows dropped after eyelid, what can change within 6 months? (photos)

You are very early out and things will change.  What and how much and whether you will be happy is to be detrmined with time.  Just be patient as you appear to have a great result and are heading in the right direction.

I think you look great for 2 weeks post-op.  The whole reason to do the ptosis repair is to elevate the eyelid. This will bring the lid up higher, so it will appear closer to the brow.  Also, when you have a ptosis, you elevate the brow to help lift the lid.  Once the eyelids are higher from the surgery, the brow will relax a little and may fall.  You will appear more almond shaped with the low upper lid.  The lower lid is still in good position, but the higher lid will alter the overall shape.   

You look good for 13 days after surgery. Your eyes look good overall. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

Thank you for the question and photo. You should wait a few months before judging the outcome of your surgery. It looks very good for being only 13 days post op. There is a good chance the brows will return to normal. Since you are concerned, keep regular appointments with your surgeon. Good luck.

and your early results are representative of what is done when you have ptosis surgery.  By the way, did you do anything to your lower lids at the same time?  Your photo suggests that your lower lids were done as well and if so, that is contributing to the altered shape of your eye.  And lid surgery itself does not drop your brows so the appearances may be more of an illusion with your eyes more open now.

Lifting droopy or ptotic eyelids has the potential to cause a few changes. The eye shape can change a bit as a higher position of the eyelid margin relative to the pupil means more of the eye is exposed. Eyebrows are usually elevated as a natural response to heavy eyelids. Once corrected the eyebrows can lower a bit as well. Your swelling will continue to improve that will make your eyes appear more like they did before. I agree with bringing up your concerns with your surgeon.

No cause for concern, this is normal and will get better as your swelling goes down. Keep all scheduled follow up appointment with your surgeon and follow his or her post-op instructions . It can take several months before you get to you final result. Best wishes, Dean Vistnes.
