Masturbation 5 days after labiaplasty?

The bad news is that certainly you could have disrupted the sutures. Bruising is a sign of bleeding under the skin.  The entire area is swollen because of recent surgery so masturbation before three weeks or cleared by your surgeon should not be done.
The good news is that you likely did not cause irreversible damage.   A woman's genitalia are resilient and strong - designed to accommodate sex and vaginal birth.  Sex drive returns when our bodies are healthy so likely a little masturbation did not do permanent damage.  That said wait until after valentine's day. 

Bad move. Labiaplasty scars are weak and masturbation puts stress on your scars. There's no way to tell if you've ripped up some stitches beneath the surface so see your surgeon for an exam.

Thank you for sharing your question. Without photographs or an in person examination, it is difficult to assess exactly what is occurring. Bruising can present immediately after surgery or can take a few days to show up. Because of this, it's difficult to determine if masturbation caused the purple discoloration you're referring to. If you're concerned or have noticed any increase in pain or discomfort, I would recommend follow up with your surgeon. In the meantime, I would allow the vaginal tissue ample time to heal prior to further masturbation or intercourse. Your surgeon can guide you on their particular recommendations for future care.

Thank you for sharing your question.  Unfortunately it is difficult to offer recommendations without a full series of photographs.  This bruising may have developed in a delayed fashion from your procedure or may have been induced by your vibrator use. can be done if the sutures lines are protected from whatever method you choose to use.  A vibrator on the hood may contribute to bruising and any pulling on the hood (such as when using your fingers), can result in tension on your incisions so please avoid this activity until its cleared with your surgeon.  If the purplish area is getting more pronounced, you will have to see your surgeon and let him/her know what you did and determine if anything may have been caused by your activities.

You will have to be examined by your surgeon to answer your concerns; no way I can do that without an exam! HOWERVER, here are my "sexual instructions" for labiaplasty patients:1. No sexual contact whatsoever for the first week (don't want you to get aroused, as this could upset your incision lines and lead to bleeding...)2. After 1 week, lovemaking ABOVE THE WAIST is OK. No masturbation, tongues, fingers, etc in the pelvic arrea.3. After 3 weeks, masturbation OK but no vigorous rubbing involving the clitoral area if you have also has a hood reduction. Oral sex usually OK after 3 weeks. Anal sex MAY be OK after 3 weeks, but ask your surgeon!4. Fingers, toys, penises and full penetration only OK after you have been cleared by your surgeon. Thank you for your question.  Although is may be difficult to suppress one's desires, it is important to follow one's surgeon's postoperative instructions. It is challenging to offer recommendations without photographs.  I would recommend contacting your surgeon for an in-person evaluation.  Best of luck.
