Thanks to Dr. Palmer’s hymenoplasty, I bled on my wedding night with my husband. Based on my religion, I am supposed to be a virgin when I get married and bleed on my wedding night. The problem was that that I met a guy in college and we had sex, and then my parents arranged for me to fly back home to my country, meet my future husband and then marry him there. I found out that my friend’s sister had the same problem and went to see Dr. Palmer. He performed a hymenoplasty on her and then she bled on her wedding night. She told me that he was very good. I went to see Dr. Palmer and had a hymenoplasty on the same day as the consultation. I was even able to go to class later that day. Nobody knew. The procedure was painless and only took a few minutes. Dr. Palmer was so kind and understanding. I felt as though I had a friend taking care of me. Dr. Palmer and his office was so confidential about the whole thing. They were great! A few months later I got married and my husband could not tell that I had the hymenoplasty. YES, I DID BLEED on my wedding night after having sex. I had to show the bed sheet to my family and they were so proud that there was blood. I highly recommend Dr. Palmer.
Dr. Jeffrey Palmer is fabulous! I cannot recommend him enough. He saved me. I had a labiaplasty done by an “experienced” plastic surgeon, but he botched me. I then went to several plastic surgeons and gynecologists who said that nothing could be done, but they still wanted to operate. I then found out about Dr. Palmer. He is a cosmetic and reconstructive urologist. I never heard of this type of surgeon, but it turns out that there are very few of these type of urologists exist that specialize in surgery of just the genitalia. I liked him the moment I met him. He provided realistic expectations and was very honest. He had great bedside manner. He was gentle and warm. He was not trying to sell me anything like the other surgeons tried to do. I could tell that he was feeling the pain that I was going though. I decided to have Dr. Palmer revise my botched labiaplasty. It turned out GREAT! I am very happy. The results are better than I ever imagined. It looks natural. His experience in genital surgery really shows. His price was very fair and it was worth every penny. Knowing what the results were going to be, I would have paid even more. I wish that I would have gone to Dr. Palmer for the original labiaplasty. After surgery I had full access to Dr. Palmer. He would call me back quickly and would always make sure that all my questions were answered. I have referred him to other women who had a botched labiaplasty.
Some background; I had my first daughter when I was 20 y/o. A training physician had me push before I was 10cm dilated. My first daughter was 10lb 3oz and I had extensive damage and hemorrhaging, in and out of the hospital for a month. My second daughter was 9lbs 15oz. My husband and I have a very active sex life but he would occasionally make comments about me not being as tight as before I had my first child. I thought "well obviously because I'm not a teenager anymore." But I started to notice it as well. I would "[RS bleep]" a lot during sex, I would start out well lubricated but my natural lubrication would go away due to the constant air being pulled in and out, I can orgasm through clitoral stimulation but there was basically no friction involved. I've been thinking about this procedure for a few years now. I did my research. I did so much research that I freaked myself out. I met with Dr. Palmer in his office. I was nervous because I was basically asking someone to judge my genitalia. Dr. Palmer came in and answered ALL of my questions, explained the procedure, and showed me pictures first. Then he asked if he could examine me. So I changed and he came back in and began. He told me that he would give his opinion about everything "down there" and I could decide what I wanted. Right away he told me that I did not need a labiaplasty, that he wouldn't change a thing on the "outside." The inside was another matter. He was able to fit 4 fingers, almost 5 in just the opening. He explained that when aroused, you open up MORE. He said he thought he could get me down to about 1 1/2-tight 2. After the exam, he let me get dressed and spent more time answering my questions. In all, he sat with me for almost one and a half hour during a FREE consultation to answer all of my questions. Three things made me decide to go with him, the fact that he spent so much time talking to me, the fact that he was realistic and wanted me to be as well "no surgery is a guarantee", and the fact that he didn't try to sell me on extra procedures that I didn't need and I KNEW that I didn't need. So I scheduled the surgery for about 5-6weeks out. Well that surgery was today. Prep was an enema and a first urine sample the morning of and no food/drink after midnight. I got nervous last night that I was about to have a "cosmetic" surgery or that I was being vain. My husband told me that it was my decision and I could back out. But I didn't want to back out, just having jitters. So this morning I went to the surgery center in Middleburg Heights. The staff was SUPER friendly and the facility was clean and inviting. I was taken into the pre-op area and put in a comfy recliner for my IV start, meeting with the anesthesiologist, and meeting again with Dr. Palmer. Every member of the staff took the time to ask questions and answer my questions. Dr. Palmer could tell that I was nervous and I told him I was afraid of the recovery, I was afraid that it wouldn't be "tight" enough, and that something would go wrong. He said he knew I read online horror stories but hes not sure what those doctors did to mangle their patients so badly and he normally doesn't have a patient taking more than two doses of pain meds (TWO!). He took the time to reassure my husband and I over and over. He told me he would be available for me to call him whenever I needed and he would always be the one answering that number. So they walked me over to the OR. The staff there was amazing too and joked around with me before. The bubbly anesthesiologist told me to "enjoy my glasses of wine" and relax lol and that I could trust them. So I fell asleep and had the surgery. The surgery took almost a hour and 15minutes. I was pretty groggy when I first woke up and it took me a little longer to come out of it than when I've been under before. They immediately asked about my pain and gave me an injection into my IV. That took the edge off but I was still uncomfortable. I was in the recovering bay for about 30 minutes when I told them I REALLY had to pee. They said that was great and two nurses assisted me to the bathroom. Then they walked me directly into another room with recliners. Sitting in the recliner was much more comfortable than laying in the bed. They asked about my pain again and gave me percocet, a drink, and crackers. The staff was very attentive. They brought my husband back at this time too. I started to perk up. The pain wasn't PAIN, it was just uncomfortable. Nothing intolerable though. Dr. Palmer came back to speak with me again. He said that he was basically able to fit his whole first in me while I was under (OMG lol) and that I definitely needed this surgery. He said the difference is "night and day" already and he thinks that I'm going to be very pleased. In total, I was at the surgery center about 5 1/2-6 hours. Its about 6pm now, so 7ish hours post op. I havent taken any of my prescribed pain meds yet. Im maybe 2-3 on a pain scale of 10. The most uncomfortable thing is when I pee, it burns a little from all of the irritation and I kind of lean forward so that the urine pee doesn't run towards the back and onto the site. Im being pretty careful when getting in and out of bed too, like the old person slowly put one leg in and then bring the other instead of just hopping in like I normally would. If the pain never gets worse than this (knock on wood) then I will be in awe of his skill. I'm not regretty this at all (YET). I didn't take any of my own pics but I know that the doctor did so I'll see if I can have them sent or ask my husband to take some tomorrow. I hope this helps anyone thinking of having this procedure. Updated on 14 Nov 2017: The past week hasn't been bad. I've taken it easy more out of KNOWING I should, not NEEDING to. I was able to go to the grocery store on day 4, it was sore and tired when I got home but it was doable. I haven't really needed pain meds since day 2. I had my college classes yesterday and took a pillow to sit on haha. There are a few uncomfortable parts though. I developed a rash from my my labia all the way to the top of my butt crack. Super uncomfortable and itchy. I initially thought it was a yeast infection but my dr. thinks it was a reaction to the Bacitracin ointment being in a "moist" environment and he recommended switching to just a tiny bit of Vaseline on the actual stitch site. Also, the stitches on my perineum, closest to my vagina have kind of "balled" up and are poking me and slightly uncomfortable in certain areas. I still havent gotten a good look down there because I dont want to see too much until I'm more healed. Im done taking my antibiotics today. Still taking stool softeners just to be safe. Updated on 21 Nov 2017: Doing really well. I have to say that this hasn't been anywhere near some of the horror stories I read. Sometimes when I sit weird or swing my legs out of my car too fast, my peri area will get a sharp pain but it goes away quickly. My weird rash is going away. Dr Palmer (seriously amazing at returning my calls multiple times a week with questions) told me to stop using the Vaseline too bc it got so bad that it hurt to walk. This isn't abnormal reaction so don't let it scare you, I have pretty sensitive skin. The knot of the stitch can still be annoying but nothing I can't deal with. I have some watery discharge but I think that's normal bc of the stitches dissolving. One of the worst parts is not being able to shave lol. I meet w dr palmer in a week for my 3 week check so I will post an update then! Updated on 29 Nov 2017: Yesterday was the 3 week mark. Today I met with Dr Palmer for a routine check-up. He sat w my husband and I answering any questions or concerns before, then he did a quick exam. He just inserted a pinky finger to feel the internal stitches. I was pretty tense bc I've been "guarding" the area and I was afraid of anyone touching me. He was very gentle and it was a little uncomfortable just from the internal swelling that I hadn't realized I even had until he inserted a pinky. Palmer said everything looked good and I was exactly where I should be at week 3. I'm still dealing with the irritation/rash but it's gotten better. He recommended using Desitin very lightly just to help w any excess moisture. He again emphasized no sex or shaving. He said at week 7 or 8 when I have my final check not to rush into sex right away bc it may be uncomfortable, so try a small vibrator or [RS bleep] or have my husband be gentle w fingers. I guess some people get so excited and rush it (I get that after 8 weeks of nothing!) I still have the stitches knot that is sometimes odd feeling and he said if it's still there at my final appointment then he will cut it off but it's normal for this time post op. I don't really have any pics bc all of my work was internal and there's nothing to photograph! I will remind you that before that he could easily get 4-5 fingers in my opening and he easily got almost his whole hand in during surgery, today he said he would have been hard pressed to get 2 fingers in! Updated on 28 Dec 2017: I had my final check-up with the doctor. He said everything is healed well but still be cared I w my perineum area bc it's sensitive and takes longer to heal. I know most people want answers on the sex afterwards. I can honestly say that the surgery was worth it. My husband keeps saying how much tighter I am now and we both think the surgery was worth it. There is more friction for me so I get more into it. Some of it may be psychological bc I know he's so into it. All in all, I'm really happy w the surgery and not ever really having pain. It's definitely tighter and my husband keeps telling me how great it is.
Dr. Jeffrey Palmer had performed a labiaplasty on my teenage daughter and I was so pleased with the way he treated her and results, that I went to him to evaluate my vagina and labia. The looseness of my vagina had bothered me for some time because I had problems reaching orgasm with penetration. Also after seeing my daughter’s labiaplasty results, I decided to also have Dr. Palmer check out my labia minora. I decided to have a vaginal rejuvenation including a trim labiaplasty. Dr. Palmer was so sweet and really cared about my concerns. I had the surgery done and he called me the next day to check how I was doing. I felt good the next day without any pain. I love love love my results. I look beautiful and let’s just say that achieving orgasm with my husband is no longer an issue.
I have always been bothered by the length of my penis. I looked like a turtle with the head inside. My wife said it did not bother her, but I knew that she was being kind. I wanted my penis enlarged. Dr. Palmer enlarged my penis by several inches using his technique. He didn't have to cut the ligaments. I went home the same day. Now I can see my entire penis. He changed my life. He did a great job and I am very happy.
Dr. Palmer performed a vaginoplasty and the results are great. Before surgery I had issues with difficulties achieving orgasm with intercourse because my vagina was so loose after having children that I could barely feel my husband. I live in New York and my friend from Boston who had a labiaplasty recommended Dr. Palmer. Before my trip in for the consultation and surgery, I was able to speak with Dr. Palmer and communicate through his private email system. I brought up the possibility of a labiaplasty but Dr. Palmer was very honest with me and told me and showed me that the surgery would not be tremendously beneficial. I decided not to have it done. Dr. Palmer then performed the vaginoplasty and I only required 1 pain pill afterwards and only had a small amount of spotting. I don’t even see the scar. I was back to work in a few days. I couldn’t believe how easy the recovery was. Now I am not having any issues with achieving orgasm. Dr. Palmer was so understanding and kind throughout the entire process. I had to travel into Cleveland, Ohio for the vaginoplasty but it was definitely worth the 1 hour flight.
I came in from New York to see Jeffrey Palmer, MD. There were a lot of plastic surgeons in Manhattan who I could have gone to have my monsplasty, vaginal rejuvenation and labiaplasty but I chose Dr. Palmer. It was an easy decision. Once I met him, I knew that he was going to be my surgeon. He met with me and my husband to discuss my interests and surgical options. I have been married for a long time and I wanted him there for the consultation. Other surgeons had problems in having my husband present during the consultation but Dr. Palmer actually welcomed it. Dr. Palmer provided me with multiple options and showed me exactly what each one would involve. He spent over 1 hour with me. I then underwent a vaginoplasty to tighten my vagina, did a pubic lift, performed a trim labiaplasty of the labia minora and labiaplasty of the labia majora. After having kids things got stretched out, but Dr. Palmer made me look and feel like the way I was before having children. My vagina is nice and tight which has increased the enjoyment of intercourse and the ability to obtain orgasm for both me and my husband. I cannot even see the scars of the labia. Dr. Palmer brought back my beauty and a dimension to our marriage that was missing for years.
I am an Arab woman from the Middle East. Although I have had exposure to non-Arabic culture through my education, my family is very religious. We are required to be a virgin when we marry. I am to be married soon but had lost my virginity. My parents knew but my future husband does not. I was recommend Dr. Palmer by a girl who had seen him. Dr. Palmer was able to understand the importance of my situation. He took the time to explain the options. Although we live out of the country, he was always available to speak by phone before and after the surgery. We traveled to see Dr. Palmer because we could not afford the embarrassment of seeing a doctor in our country. We had the consultation on one day and the hymenoplasty the next day. He performed a hymenoplasty for me and now I am ready for marriage. He made an awkward experience into a great experience. My parents are very thankful because he spared my family embarrassment .
I always thought that I had a small penis. My girlfriend found out about Dr. Jeffrey Palmer from her sister in New York whose husband had surgery with him. I traveled in from Chicago to Cleveland. He told me that my problem wasn't that I had a small penis but rather a hidden penis. My penis was normal size but just not as visible. He fixed in 2 hours what I was suffering from for my entire life. I also made arrangments for Dr. Palmer to do the surgery the day after the free consultation so I only had one trip.
My labia were large and I was embarrassed to be with other women. I went to other Docs but I choose Jeffrey Palmer because of his experience. He made me beautiful. He performed a labiaplasty and now the labia are the same size. I am still healing but they look great. I have a lot of confidence now. I look forward to meeting someone special.
Thank you for your question and photograph. A penis may appear smaller for several reasons, including excessive weight, which may improve with weight loss. A penis may appear smaller because a man may have a penile web or hidden penis, which is also known as buried penis. These conditions are typically the result of anatomic issues that prevent the penis from fully being seen. The outpatient surgical techniques that I use to address these issues are ones that I developed and have presented my techniques and results at national and international meetings. These types of penile enhancement surgeries can provide increased visible length without the associated complications of penile lengthening operations. A penis may also appear smaller due to redundant penile skin requiring a cosmetic circumcision revision. The outpatient surgical technique that I use to address these issues is one that I developed and have presented my techniques and results at national and international meetings. I would recommend a consultation with an experienced Cosmetic Urologist for an evaluation even if this requires traveling. Best of luck. Jeffrey S. Palmer, MD (Cosmetic and Reconstructive Urologist – Long Island, New York)

Thank you for your question. Each surgeon has their own postoperative protocol for caring for patients having a labiaplasty. I would recommend following the surgeon's instructions and contacting him/her if you have any questions or concerns. Best of luck. Jeffrey S. Palmer, MD (Cosmetic and Reconstructive Urologist – Long Island, New York)
Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs. There is a wide variation in the appearance and size of a woman's genital anatomy. Labiaplasty of the labia minora is a personal decision after being educated on the benefits and risks. There are several labiaplasty techniques, including the wedge and trim techniques, which should be discussed with you by the surgeon. I would recommend consultation with an experienced genital surgeon, which include Cosmetic Urologists, even if it involves traveling. Some surgeons offer virtual evaluation through encrypted services, which is an option prior to traveling to meet the surgeon for consultation. There are several types of surgeons who promote themselves as performing labiaplasty, but a Cosmetic Urologist can offer unique qualifications compared to plastic surgeons, gynecologists and general urologists. Cosmetic Urologists typically have both extensive training and experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive genital surgery. Best of luck. Jeffrey S. Palmer, MD (Cosmetic and Reconstructive Urologist – Long Island, New York)
Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs. Additional photographs or physical examination would be needed to determine the status of your hymen. A hymenoplasty can be performed for women who wish to reconstruct the torn or ruptured hymen. I would recommend finding an experienced genital surgeon, which include Cosmetic Urologists, even if it involves traveling.
