Corrugator Muscle Lumps above bilateral brows post Botox. (photos)

Question

Greetings Physician’s, I have acquired bilat brow lumps post Botox. Looking back on photos it appears the have been present. Although, have increased in size over time. I have been told this may be related to the corrugator muscle/s. My Derm/PS report they are now aware of the cause. It isn’t painful. Hard surface when touched. It’s becoming increasingly bothersome. Kindly provide potential cause and solution. With respect for your time

This may be improved with a touch-up of Botox. I recommend following up with your injector. Botox results resolve in 3-4 months. Hope this helps.

It is challenging to adequately assess your issues without a personal examination.  Likely your forehead treatment is causing unwanted muscle recruitment.  This is likely caused by the pattern of forehead treatment you received.  This can be improved by superimposing a correcting treatment along the eyebrow using the Microdroplet Lift® technique.

Muscle knots can be caused by several different factors such as overusing or injuring your muscles, it can also be caused by dehydration, unhealthy eating habits, stress and anxiety. Volume and contouring of the face and temples can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert to go over your desired results and recommendations. Best, Dr. Emer

Very common  question. Those bumps are in fact bony protrusions of your skull. They are called superciliar arch (brow ridge). Usually men have more prominent brow ridge then women, but they are normal part of human anatomy. Yours look totally normal and I would not worry about then.
