I developed a pretty insane case of sharkbite after one coolsculpting treatment on my neck. There's a clear indent of where the applicator was put on, leaving me with a bulge that is present all the time and especially when I smile. One doctor said I should try facetite. Another said he would try smart lipo, then a mini lift to address any loose skin. If I'm going to shell out the money to fix this, I want to do it right. What procedure or combo of procedures would you suggest?
Answer: CoolSculpting Complication Thank you for your question and pictures. I would be interested in seeing your before and after pictures if you have them. In your case I would recommend an in-person examination of the quality of fat that remains in the area. Given the little details of your treatment and looking at your pictures, I would want to rule out the possibility of Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia. It may respond to a non-surgical treatment such as ThermiTight or FaceTite, but if the fat feels firm and fibrous then traditional liposuction followed by a skin tightening procedure may be the best option. Make sure you see an experienced physician. Best wishes.

Answer: Facetite Thank you for your question, I'm so sorry that happened to you. I would recommend Facetite to correct the shark bite. Facetite is a noninvasive face lift that removes fat and tightens skin using a small cannula under the skin. The procedure uses patented technology to gently melt and remove excess fat through a tiny incision that helps contour the face. The procedure is done in office and patients can drive home. Optimal results take up to a year. Fat is removed the same day, and your skin will continue to tighten over time. I hope you find a specialist in your area to move forward with the Facetite procedure.

Answer: Facetite - correcting a "sharkbite" You look too young for a "mini facelift"! The InMode Facetite and facial liposculpture and neck liposculpture at the same time just makes more sense to me. A facelift is more definitive but has the associated scars that one cannot just gloss over. I'd base this decision on you age and your tolerance of scars. Best Wishes!!

Answer: Neck Sag -- Fillers Like Belotero, Silk; Fraxel or Erbium Laser; Botox/Dysport/Xeomin; Sagging needs Neck Lift, Renvion/Vaser I have done some of the most face tite procedures and renuvion neck procedures in the country, years before other doctors, and facetite alone will not give you the biggest improvement. facetite + neck lift will. you are a candidate for neck surgery (lift + platysmaplasty) however if you are not willing to do this procedure for whatever reason, then facetite + liposuction will give you IMPROVEMENT but not nearly as substantial as a lift with facetite/liposuction. See an expert please. With significant neck sagging you would need a neck/face lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). at the same time lasers (fraxel, co2 or erbium( or microneedling RF (fractora, intensif) can be . performed to improve the crepe skin or wrinkles. You need a formal consultation, as the neck can be treated with a combination approach: 1. micro needling and lasers for texture 2. botox, disport or xeomin to help platysmal bands 3. intensif or fractora RF microneedling for crepe skin and lifting 4. fillers like belotero, restylane silk, juvederm volbella to improve lines and folds 5. neck/face lifting if sagging is prominent or early starting +/- platysmaplasty (muscle tightening) 6. J plasma/Renuvion, thermiRF, inmode facetite for internal tightening 7. ultherapy and thermage for external tightening 8. regular Venus legacy, exilis ultra, or inmode forma treatments with facials to maintain tightness 9. PDO novathreads or silhouette instalift cone threads for lifting and long-term collagen production see an expert for a full evaluation and treatment plan based on your individual situation and goals. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Facetite Thank you for your questions and photos. Based on these photos, I would recommend liposuction to the area under the chin (submental area) to smooth and thin the area. In addition, you may need a small amount of fat grafting to fill the dent left from the coolsculpting procedure. You may also benefit from Facetite to help tighten the tissues under the chin and jawline. In our office, we would do these 3 procedures in one appointment under local anesthetic. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon who has fat grafting experience. In our office, we offer 3D imaging to give our patients an accurate idea of what their final result will look like. Good luck!
