You will usually get the best result with a true facelift. However you should get a good result with facetite. I think you have too much fat in the neck to see much improvement with Ulthera. With facetite, you will get some reduction of the fat in the jowls and neck and some skin tightening. Liposuction is done at the same time as the facetite, so that more of the fat will be removed giving you a better jaw and neck line. While there is no cutting with the Facetite, you can get pretty swollen for a few days.
at age 50 I would consider Facetite. Ulthera is just not really what you need. Facetite can sculpt your face and neck without large incisisons. A facelift seems aggressive but it does depend on your goals. Best Wishes!!
Hello Kentucky50, It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! You have a cherubic face so don't need a facelift yet. Based on your pictures and description, I would recommend getting a FaceTite and NeckTite procedure. FaceTite is a leading-edge, one-hour contouring solution procedure for the face and small areas of the body that helps patients achieve results similar to a facelift without excisional surgery. With FaceTite and NeckTite, patients who would prefer to avoid surgery and general anesthesia, can remove excess body and facial fat without leaving behind saggy, wrinkly skin. Recovery time required for these procedures is remarkably short (24-48 hours), and also pain-free, relative to traditional lipolysis methods. Using radio-frequency (RF) technology, the surgeon places a small probe beneath the skin that heats the tissues causing them to contract and tighten. Furthermore, FaceTite can be combined with liposuction in the jowls, chin and neck areas to attain more contouring and a more overall youthful appearance. Request an in-person consultation with an experienced plastic surgeon to assess your candidacy for FaceTite and NeckTite based on your age, skin laxity and health status, among other factors. During the initial consultation, you will most likely have the opportunity to take a look at your surgeon’s before-and-after photo gallery of similar cases, and discuss your specific needs and cosmetic goals. Kind regards! Dr. De La Cruz.
Based on a photo you can do facetite but you really need a face/neck lift. you have to have realistic expectations, as if you chose facetite you will only get "improvement" you will not get a drastic change. With significant neck sagging you would need a neck/face lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). at the same time lasers (fraxel, co2 or erbium( or microneedling RF (fractora, intensif) can be . performed to improve the crepe skin or wrinkles. You need a formal consultation, as the neck can be treated with a combination approach:1. micro needling and lasers for texture2. botox, disport or xeomin to help platysmal bands3. intensif or fractora RF microneedling for crepe skin and lifting4. fillers like belotero, restylane silk, juvederm volbella to improve lines and folds5. neck/face lifting if sagging is prominent or early starting +/- platysmaplasty (muscle tightening)6. J plasma/Renuvion, thermiRF, inmode facetite for internal tightening7. ultherapy and thermage for external tightening8. regular Venus legacy, exilis ultra, or inmode forma treatments with facials to maintain tightness9. PDO novathreads or silhouette instalift cone threads for lifting and long-term collagen productionsee an expert for a full evaluation and treatment plan based on your individual situation and goals.Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your questions and photos. Based on these photos, I would recommend a face and necklift with submental (under the chin) liposuction. This would lift your tissues, giving you a sharp jawline,. It would also thin and tighten the neck area .In our office, we commonly do this procedure under local anesthesia. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon. They will be able to assess your specific anatomy and make a recommendation that is best for you. In our office, we offer 3D imaging to give our patients an accurate idea of what their final result will look like. Good luck!
Hello and thanks for the question. I have had the pleasure of providing all of these treatments and can say without hesitation that your best result will be with a formal submentoplasty consisting of submental liposuction and platysmaplasty as part of a lower facelift. Save your money and a lot of heartache with regards to Ultherapy and Facetite if you are looking for a long lasting, definitive result. I have performed dozens of Facetite procedures and even after extensive training, I do not feel that it is possible to achieve the results that I can with a formal surgery. Lessor procedures often seem like a good compromise with regards to down time or financial considerations, but in the long run, most people are happier when they get the results they pay for. Minimal procedures often only give minimal results. My Best!John Standefer MD
From the limited pictures, you are going to need a lower face and neck lift to accomplish a Face and neck rejuvenation. In our practice, a lower face and neck lift accomplishes tightening loose facial and neck muscles, tightening loose facial and neck skin, lifting the jowls, and removing fatty deposits in the neck located above and below the platysma muscle in the neck. This also includes a platysma plasty. Minimally invasive procedures cannot accomplish these goals
Any areas on the face and neck with saggy skin can be treated with FaceTite. This includes the double chin, the neck, the jowls, the jawline and mandible, and marionette lines as well as other areas with deep lines and loose skin.
I do not recommend lymphatic massages for my patients after liposuction and FaceTite. Carefully orchestrate any lymphatic massages with your plastic surgeon.
