Facetite for jowls and under chin/neck? (Photo)

Question

I am considering the FaceTite procedure and am a little nervous. I am starting the jowls and the loose skin under the chin. Will this procedure leave me with sagginess? I had ultherapy for the neck last year and that did not tighten up the area. I also had ultherapy full face and neck about 5 years ago and that seemed to help, but my neck is starting the sag again and I am hoping that this FaceTite will help. Am I making a mistake since ultherapy didn't work last time? Maybe rf does not work for me.

Any areas on the face and neck with saggy skin can be treated with FaceTite. This includes the double chin, the neck, the jowls, the jawline and mandible, and marionette lines as well as other areas with deep lines and loose skin.

Thank you for your questions and photos. The Facetite procedure works well but I dont think you will be happy with how much tightening you will get. Based on these photos, I recommend a face and necklift with a platysmaplasty.The plastymaplasty is a procedure that brings the edges of the platysma muscle together thereby getting rid of the bands under the chin. This is done during a necklift. The neck and facelift will lift your jowls, sharpen your jawline and reduce excess skin laxity. In our office, we do this procedure under local anesthesia. FaceTite can help the skin to contract up to 40%.  The procedure is different from Ultherapy, so your prior response to that treatment would not mean FaceTite won't work.  I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

FaceTite can certainly be very effective in this area. I would not expect full correction. You may be better served with a face lift. Depending on the particulars of your situation, I would try Facetite and give it 6-12 months. If you are not satisfied at that point, I would consider a facelift.

Facetite is used Precisely to reduce sagging of the neck area. Do, it should help, but if you want more  dramatic results consider a surgical neck lift.

Facetite, Thermage, Ulthera, Thermi RF are all skin tightening treatments and all are very good at tightening skin but when you have neck bands which are not just bands of skin but also contain the very thin neck muscle called the Platysma all bets are off unless the bands are addressed as well.Thank you for sending your pictures. You have neck bands now and perhaps you did not 5 years ago when you had the Ulthera face and neck with good results.I would recommend an office lower face and neck lift.
