Since a Brazilian Butt Lift is just a transfer of fat, would it be able to be detected through an MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray?

Dear a_mann,
once you are fully healed, there should be no difference between transferred fat and normal fat. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

A BBL can possibly be detected on x-ray, ultrasound and MRI.

While modern techniques recommend surgeons not graft fat into the gluteus muscle there been numerous studies that have shown fat in the gluteus muscle despite operative report claiming that the fat was specifically not grafted in the gluteus muscle.

Fat transfer will always leave some fat necrosis and some of this has a propensity to form oil cysts and calcifications.

None of these may be noticeable clinically or to the patient but most likely all of this could at least potentially be found and radiographic evaluation including ultrasound, x-ray and MRI.
