Can Botox lift the bottom cheeks around the lips? (Photo)

Hello, thank you for the question. Unfortunately, Botox is not the treatment to achieve what you are looking for. Perhaps fillers around the cheek area can help you lift the area you are addressing. Thank you for your questions and photos. You will do best with filler to you upper cheek area to help define your cheek bones and fill out this area. It can also help improve the hollows under your eyes. Botox to the masseter muscle can help thin your jawline where you have drawn the arrow in the first picture. If you were my patient, I would start with the filler and work to achieve the result that you want. Then if you still desire a thinner jawline, Botox can be added in. You might also want to consider a bleaching cream for the undereye area to decrease the darkness. Good luck! I think that you will be very pleased with your results.

Botox can't be used to lift the cheeks, but it can be used to slim the jawline in addition to rf treatments. For under the eyes, a combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. Can Botox lift cheeks? No! You need an examination in person to see if filler around you upper cheek will help. Otherwise it is just a guess.

If you press for botox, you are likely to get masseter botox and this in my opinion will make your issues worse. I think you would benefit from facial volume in the form of Restylane and Restylane Lyft.  These are fussy, hard to use products.  What I like about them is that they do not shift around.  They hold were you place them.  Megan Fox has a fuller under eye area and chin.  Using fillers can help capture an appearance that will produce this time of volume.  You need an artistic injector and we are rare.  Stay away from injectors who do cookie cutter treatment.  Avoid permanent or semipermanent fillers.  It is very likely that treatments that are not to your aesthetic liking will need to modified and this can be done with grafted fat, radiesse or scupltra.

Thank you for your question.Botox would not give you the desired effect you are looking for because it stops muscles from working, it does nothing for their shape. From what you are describing, I think you would be a good candidate for fat grafting. You take your own fat and inject it into the area to help give better contour to your face.

Thank you for your photos. I would not recommend using Botox around your cheeks. Instead I would use a filler such as Voluma or Sculptra. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist. 

Thank you for your pictures. Botox can narrow the face and jawline by injecting into the masseter muscles, although this is most certainly done to prevent teeth grinding or Bruxism. The aesthetic benefit can be very pleasing in 'wide' or broad faces that require slimming. It does not however narrow the upper part of the face. Dark circles (tear troughs) are often due to volume loss in the areas surrounding the eye. This is often genetic. Botox cannot correct this but facial fillers can, when performed by a physician who is skilled in this procedure. Interestingly, a very artistic physician can place strategic filler across the top of your cheekbones/temples to create the impression that your face is actually slimmer and more lifted. This would be worth discussing with a cosmetic doctor who may be able to create the look you desire with filler. Hope this helps?
