Filler to make the chin longer and slimmer?

Hi and thanks for your question.Injection of thick fillers like Juvederm Voluma or Emervel volume can give a very nice volume and contouring of chin and it tends to last longer.

I use filler in the chin successfully.  I have found that filler placed in the chin (or nose) tends to last much longer than filler placed elsewhere on the face.  I generally use Voluma or Restylane, as they are thicker and give more volume than some other fillers.  On the chin, these products will elongate the chin, give it a more pointy appearance, and/or strengthen the jawline depending on where it is placed.  

Dermal fillers are a great option for reshaping the chin area. Depending of the type of dermal fillers used, they can last over a year and will give you a very natural look. Cheers, Dr. Michon
