I've had these banana rolls under my butt even when I was at my skinniest. Is there anyway at all to get rid of them whether it be exercise, lipo, cool sculpting etc? If so, how much would a procedure like that cost? I am currently on a weight loss journey but like I said, they were still there when I was 10 lb lighter. I just want a more defined under butt line!

Answer: Don’t treat the banana roll The banana roll is a skinfold that forms in a standing position. If you lean over slightly you’ll see that they go away. The skin on the upper back of your thigh is Todd when you’re leaning forward with your hips fully flexed. It is contracted or folded up in a standing position just like your lower abdomen folds in a sitting position. If you remove fat to compensate for the skin fold you will have a fat deficit that will look disfigured. Liposuction of this area not only fails to treat the problem but leaves people disfigured all too many times. On top of this inner thigh Liposuction is prone to contour irregularities if not done by someone who is extremely talented. If that was the correct treatment it would be a skin excision but this is not recommended and believe it or visible scar that you probably would not care for. As much as you may not like the banana roll I think you would dislike the outcome after liposuction far worse. The fact that they persisted even at a lower weight is confirmation that these are a skinfold and not related to subcutaneous fat. Best, Mats Hagstrom
