How soon after an FUE transplant can you get SMP on the donor area and on the moustache/upper chin, the recipient area?

Scalp MicroPigmentation or SMP can be done as long as your wound has healed with no redness.  This can be one month or three months or six months.  It depends on the person and how your scar has healed. Most importantly, it depends on the experience and comfort level of the doctor performing the procedure.

Thank you for your question. It would be fine to have a scalp micro-pigmentation procedure once the healing process is complete from you transplant procedure. I would recommend waiting 10-12 weeks following your FUE procedure. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

A Scalp Micropigmentation procedure can be done once all of the scars have healed and the red/pink color is gone. Usually this is 2-3 months after the FUEs were done.
