Combining SMP with FUE - what if my hair becomes grey? (photos)

Question

I have had a great FUE result from a norwood 4/5 to having very nice hairline and density on my scalp. However, particularly under strong lighting, can see my scalp and some of the area on the middle of scalp. I've used over 5000 FUE grafts so I'd like to do SMP to cover up and 'thicken' the areas. My hair is dark brown, what will happen when my hair becomes grey over time if the SMP is dark brown underneath?

Scalp MicroPigmentation or SMP, when done right, will look great even if your hair turns grey.  It is best to see a doctor and meet with patients in person to see the results.

Scalp pigmentation can work to give the look of greater hair thickness by blocking the skin complexion with the pigment. It cannot be used along the hairline but within the required hair density and long hair. Pigment doesn´t use colours but tone. If the hair colour naturally changes this doesn´t necessarily create an issue with how natural the result looks. although the tone could be change if required.

Some doctors use varying shades of gray so if your're getting gray or salt and pepper hair color when you get older is not a problem for SMP.
