I don't really want my filler to be obvious, ideally, I want to be able to claim I did not get any filler. Is 1ml too much for me? Should .55 make enough of a difference?

Answer: How Much Lip Filler Is Enough? Thank you for your question and your pictures. 0.55cc of lip filler will give a subtle, almost non-noticeable result. You already have good baseline volume to your lips so you may not notice much of a difference. But, it all depends on goals. I would recommend an in-person or virtual consultation with an experienced physician for a further discussion and evaluation. Best wishes.

Answer: Amount of lip filler needed Each person has their own desire for how they would like their lips to appear. If you are only looking for a subtle change, I think 0.55ml of a lip filler would be enough for you.

Answer: 0.55 mL of Lip Filler Hello from Washington, D.C. and thank you for your question! The answer is that it depends on the size your lips before the treatment. Just by looking at your lips in the photos, I would say that 0.55 mL would make a difference but it won't be a huge difference, especially if you're just trying to add volume. It would make more of a difference if you wanted to add shape to it, i.e. creating a more defined Cupid's bow. I'm assuming you're referring to the 0.55 mL syringe of Juvederm Volbella? Volbella is a great one to use if you want subtle changes. The same amount of Juvederm Ultra Plus XC would be more noticeable. I have a before and after photo on my profile of a patient I treated with 0.55 mL of Juvederm Volbella. Feel free to take a look to see what a difference 0.55 mL makes. Keep in mind her lips are thinner than yours, so it made a good difference for her. If you want to be careful with your lip filler not looking too obvious, a good approach would be to do 0.55 mL and see how it looks once the swelling goes down, and if you want more, you can do another 0.55 mL. Keep in mind that your lips will be a little swollen for 2 days and will go down after that. The after photo of the 0.55 mL of Juvederm Volbella was taken right after the treatment, so same day. Also keep in mind that you do not have to use all the product in the syringe. Hope this helps!
