Thanks for your question! I commonly use moderate and full profile, soft touch, Inspira implants with my cosmetic patients. The profile used is really dictated by the patient's dimensions, goals, etc. If your plastic surgeon and you agree that is a good fit for you, then it likely is! Best of luck!
Absolutely. The Soft Touch silicone implants are very popular in my practice and I would say we use them just as much as the Regular Responsive (Tier 1) silicone gel. The most common profiles are the moderate and the full. Which one works for whom entirely depends on anatomy and patients desires and wishes. Some may want the more natural slope and others may desire a more full, rounded upper pole. The beauty of the Soft Touch implants are that now we have one more tool in addition to size and profile to fine tune the results. One clarification about "GummyBear" term: It can be somewhat confusing as some patients/doctors refer to itdifferently. All silicone implants are in the form of a gummy bear. Meaning, if the implant shell breaks the silicone is cohesive enough that itwill stay together. Theoriginal term "gummy bear" was used to describe the highly cohesive, shaped, textured silicone implant. Now Natrelle has 3 different cohesivelevels of silicone in their round implants. I commonly describe them asgummy, gummier, gummiest. These are technically referred to as the Responsive (Tier 1), Soft Touch (Tier 2) and Cohesive (Tier3). TheTier 3 is a very firm implant and really does not change its shape whenstanding or sitting down. They tend to stay round all the time. Theadvantage of this implant is that it really minimized the rippling in a patientwith very thin tissue coverage. This implant, at least in my practice, isreserved for revision cases in which the patient has very thin coverage.TheTier 1 and Tier 2, Responsive and Soft Touch are really the go to implants inmy practice. Some patients are better candidates for one over the other, based on what they are trying to achieve and their soft tissues.Hope that helps.
Thanks for the question. If what you are asking is do Inpira implants perform differently or better than other implants the answer is yes because the profile is somewhat higher. Other companies have now started to match the Inspira profile in their offerings. You should be discussing size though with your plastic surgeon as this relates to your chest wall dimensions and skin envelope and requires an in-person assessment. Hope this helps.
The Inspira Soft Touch is a popular implant in my practice, but my and my patients' preference if for the high profile version as you get more volume for a given breast base width. Most patients want a breast with more projection (perkier) rather than a wider, flatter breast. Hope this helps, good luck!
Hello and thank you for your question. Honestly, a formal in-person evaluation would be needed to determine the best treatment. There are several reasons for this: 1) Bra sizes vary based on the clothing store (for example, Victoria's Secret tends to upsize everyone by a whole cup size) 2) Most...
There are currently three types of full-profile Inspira smooth round silicone implants: SRF, SSF, and SCF. The letter "F" stands for "full" (profile), the first "S" stands for "smooth" implant (as opposed to textured); therefore it's the middle letter that distinguishes the...
My patients consider that in almost all cases, the implants looks smaller as they settle. Some upper pole fullness is lost.this usually happens over three or six months, at which your final result can often be seen.
