Hi please help I'm 3 weeks post op and scared my breasts are too big, will they get smaller? I have 270cc over the muscle. Also will the implants drop and my nipples get higher?
Answer: 3 weeks postop Yes, your breasts are likely to get smaller as swelling subsides and implants begin to settle. At 3 weeks postop you are very early in the healing process. Your breasts will continue to change over the next few months.

Answer: 3 weeks post op Swelling after surgery usually subsides over a 3-6 weeks period. Without having pre op photos it's hard to believe that these are truly 270 cc but you may have a very petite body frame. With regard to nipple position, yrs, the implants should drop down to the pocket but you with need to massage aggressively as specified by your surgeon.

Answer: 3 weeks post op, will my breasts get smaller? (photo) Congratulations! Don't worry, you are just 3 weeks post-op and your breasts should change a lot over the next several months. You may still be experiencing some swelling and your implants should drop over the next few months so try to be patient. Keep in mind that it can take anywhere from 3-6 months because everyone is different when it comes to healing. As your implants drop, yes, your nipples should move up to a more central location and your breasts will change shape as they will fill out more toward the bottom. Continue following your post-op instructions and re-evaluate over the next few months. Good luck! ac

Answer: Size You are very early post op and your breasts are obviously swollen. That said it would have been helpful to see preop photos to know what your breasts looked like prior to surgery.Dr. Corbin
