Thank you for your question. Basically I tell women that they can return to sexual activity when they are comfortable. We want to limit using the abdominal muscles for the first 4-6 weeks or so, and then be relatively careful with everything until everything is really settled at two months. So, basically, take it slow and if it hurts, stop... No restrictions after two months.
Thank you for your question. It is best to limit the use of your abdominal muscles in the first 6 weeks following a tummy tuck so I instruct my patients to refrain from sex until then. I recommend that you be examined and cleared by your surgeon before resuming sexual activity.
I caution my patients that their abdominal muscles need time to repair, so I advise them to avoid strenuous exercise for a period of six weeks. Depending upon your recovery from the MM and BBL, your plastic surgeon may shorten or lengthen this period.Kenneth Hughes, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. I recommend my tummy tuck patients to wait at 4 to 6 weeks before resuming strenuous activities. If you have any concerns, I suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon.Good luck :)
Your doctor will best be able to advise you based on how you are progressing through recovery. Typically you can return to activities gradually around 6 weeks. This time frame may vary by patient.
For the tummy tuck, your skin is stretched and sewn snugly to give the flattest result possible. As the skin eases you will be able to stand up straight and walk normally, usually in a week or so. Good luck.
Hello. Great question. I am sorry for your post op difficulties. I will suggest scheduling a follow up appointment with your surgeon to determine the cause of your allergic reaction.
Hello. Great question. Congratulations on your procedure. It is normal to have a color difference in your drainage post op. However, I will suggest verifying everything is under control by following up with your surgeon. Keep following your surgeon's post op instructions.
