I don't have enough money for the nose job I want yet so I intend on settling for a non surgical for the mean time... my nose is completely straight which really bothers me because im a female. I like button noses. My nose is like this " / " when I want this " ) " ... like I want a curve not a straight line. I want to know if botox can lift the tip of my nose, heard it can. How many units would I need?I'm thinking like around 8 probably... can somebody inform me on the prices and procedure?
Answer: Botox to raise the tip of your nose Botox can be used to slightly lift the tip of your nose. If, when you smile, the tip of your nose lowers, then you likely have an active depressor muscle. If so, then blocking this muscle with Botox can help tip of the nose raise. I usually start with 5 units and monitor the response. Good Luck

Answer: Botox and nasal tip Thanks for your question. Botox is a temporary neuroparalytic that is used to eliminate wrinkles in the periorbital and forehead area. Its also works well for softening the 11s (corrugated muscle). Fillers are used to add volume to the face and also deal with dipper folds and lines such as the smile lines and marionette lines. In addition filler can be used for filling the tear trough deformity and adding volume to the cheeks and lips. Please consult with your plastic surgeon to review the best options available for you. Good Luck.

Answer: Can botox actually raise the tip of my nose? Hello Skin.,There is a muscle that attaches from the middle of the nostril area (called the septum) to the upper lip. In some patients, you this muscle functions more than we would like and you see the tip of the nose drooping everytime you smile or speak. In this situation, you could inject a few units of Botox into that area to help lift the tip. The risk is that it changes the shape of your smile because the muscle that used to pull up your lip below the nose is no longer pulling it up. If Botox does work to lift your tip, it would be unlikely to give you the scooped nose you are looking for as opposed to the straight bridge.I'd recommend you consult with a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon who does a lot of facial work and who also performs his or her own injections to see what your best options are.I hope this helps and good luck.

Answer: Botox and tip of nose Sometimes if patients have a very strong depressor nasalis, botox can help neutralize its effects and lift the nasal tip a bit. A true elevation of the tip is best accomplished with rhinoplasty.

Answer: Botox and nasal tip depression Thanks for your question. If your nose turns down when smiling, the actions of the depressor septi muscle may be causing it. This can be treated with a samll (5 unit) injection of Botox. If this is not the case, then Botox will not work to elevate the tip of your nose.Best of luck.
