I've gotten botox for years and this is the first time this has happened. It is getting better now that the botox is starting to wear off. Is there something I should do or share with the injector the next time? Perhaps wait longer, get less units or avoid the area between the brow? Thanks in advance.

Botox in the temples will not help you elevate that area at all. Possibly by injecting the forehead you can have that type of result. Please consult an expert for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
Botox in the abdomen may have side effects but since this is really a cosmetic forum. I suggest you contact your treating physician for examination and I hope that you feel better. Best, Dr. Green
There are no studies currently to suggest any causative relationship (link) between Botox and ALS. Unmasking symptoms of ALS does not mean causing ALS. Actually Botox has been used to improve certain symptoms in patients with ALS (such as spasticity or drooling).
