Yes, you can use a heating pad. Oral neurontin and diuretics can help any discomfort. Keep in mind, for best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. if you just had coolsculpting, i would not use heat. after any procedure which injures tissue there is a period of inflammation and swelling. using heat  increases the swelling and inflammation and may actually cause more pain and slow down your healing
