Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, it appears that you have capsular contracture. The treatment will be to remove the implant remove the capsule and then decide on what to do next. Your options are to move the implant to a different pocket, or wrap the implant in ADM. Both of these maneuvers can decrease the risk of developing capsular contracture in the future. Good luck.

You probably have developed a capsule that is causing more pain and the asymmetry. You might get improvement with oral Accolate and external ultrasound.

What you describe and the photos seem to show is progressive hard scarring around the implant called capsular contracture. The main treatment of this is removal of the scar tissues and placement of a new implant.
