I am considering of having breast revision due to the fact that my breast have dramatically dropped even after my last lift in 2010 and also going smaller ,240 cc. I am currently a 36DD . I have no crease line and want to give my breast a more contour look . I have gone to see several doctors and have said they recommend sutures with support such as a mesh ,gortex graft, alloderm, or seri scaffol.
Answer: Internal bra options It is good to have options and the whole category of internal bra support is a very useful concept. Alloderm and Strattice are Acellular Dermal Matrix (ADM) materials that transform into living tissue. Alloderm is mostly used in breast reconstruction, Strattice mostly for revisions in augmentation cases where implant support is needed. SERI Scaffold silk can be used the same way but also under the skin where it can support the entire breast not just the implant. SERI also transforms into your own tissue over time. GalaFLEX is a similar product. I would not recommend permanent synthetics like Gore-tex for that use.

Answer: Sling for breast support Hi Patricia and thanks for your question. There is not a simple answer to your question. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in breast revision surgery and with whom you feel most comfortable versus search for the "ideal" sling for implant support. Good luck.

Answer: Which sling is best for breast implant support? There are so many techniques availble for this problem because none of them outshines the others. Loss of support almost always comes from skin that has lost its elasticity and strength being asked to hold up either too much breast tissue or too much implant. I suspect, though, with current techniques, that Seri will become the most useful.
