Hello, thank you for your question. 4- 6 weeks is an appropriate amount of waiting time. I recommend you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
Pregnancy involves a number of changes, both physical and physiological.I normally advise waiting 3 months following a termination or a miscarriage.Following childbirth, I normally recommend waiting at least 9 months following cessation of breast feeding.
Thank you for sharing your question. A number of factors would go into determining timeframe but I would wait approximately 6 weeks after abortion. Hope this helps.
Hi there, thank you for your question. I suggest you to wait for 1,5 month to have the surgery. In meantime, you can start planning your surgery and have consultations with plastic surgeons.
Dear Michelle rose, every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hi, thanks for your question. Each surgeon will have their own protocol with regards to this, so it would be best to consult the surgeon who will be performing the surgery. Please speak to them about this and any other concerns you might have about your procedure.
Two things need to occur in order to proceed with a breast augmentation after an abortion. First you will need to be fully healed with no complications. Second your hormone levels will need to have dropped to normal. A pregnancy test is given to every female of child bearing age prior to surgery and that test will have to be negative in order to proceed with surgery.
It would depend upon how fair along you were in your pregnancy before you aborted the child. If you were very early, then an augmentation could be done at any time. If you waited until your third trimester, then you would need to wait a few more months.
I believe that you should be able to undergo breast augmentation 4-6 weeks after an abortion. But I would also confer with your gynecologist. Good luck!
Hello Lau_123. I appreciate your question very much! Both of the breast implants mentioned seem like really good options. Most often, the breast implant with less projection seems more natural. However, the choice should be made by you in consultation with your plastic surgeon. Part of the...
As long as you have had a proper medical workup and do not have any issues with blood clots you should be able to get a breast augmentation as the relative risk for this surgery is low considering it is a relatively short procedure and can be done without putting you under complete paralysis. A...
Hello, I do not feel that implant choice is the main decision here. You have some significant asymmetry with your right breast being larger than the left it appears on your picture as well as the areolar are large for your sized breast. I would treat this case some what like a tuberous breast...
