How long after getting liposuction to the abdomen would you need to wait to get a navel piercing?

I haven't gotten it yet, but would like to know to be informed about the reality and the safest way possible to do this.

I would ask your surgeon as he or she will be able to give the best advice based upon your healing. Once cleared for the naval piercing, be sure to take care of the incision so that you do not develop an infection.

I appreciate your concern and it is probably best to wait at least 4 weeks after liposuction to have your belly button pierced. The key is to be sure that much of your swelling from the surgery is gone prior to piercing.  Discuss this issue with your board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.

Hello, and thank you for your question. It is best to wait at least six weeks after your liposuction procedure to have your navel pierced. This will allow your body to heal from your procedure and help to avoid any potential infections.

If one of the incisions is made through your belly button and the incision should be well healed if it’s in the proximity of the piercing.

It depends on how the incision is made in the proximity to the piercing.

If they are not directly adjacent then you wouldn’t need to wait at all.
