I would ask your surgeon as he or she will be able to give the best advice based upon your healing. Once cleared for the naval piercing, be sure to take care of the incision so that you do not develop an infection.

I appreciate your concern and it is probably best to wait at least 4 weeks after liposuction to have your belly button pierced. The key is to be sure that much of your swelling from the surgery is gone prior to piercing. Discuss this issue with your board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.

If one of the incisions is made through your belly button and the incision should be well healed if it’s in the proximity of the piercing.

It depends on how the incision is made in the proximity to the piercing.

If they are not directly adjacent then you wouldn’t need to wait at all.
