Looking for opinions/options/experienced doctors, I refuse a breast lift. Armpit incisions 34yr old female, previous breast size 34B new breast size 34DD. 600cc silicone mentor implants. TrI got my augmentation in 2017. My right breast had some kind of ridiculous bruising below my breast fold (I didn’t have much of one before this procedure) so the doctor definitely did something there. It looks just off and not symmetrical and I believe a good doctor can fix it. There’s a scar below breast from an in office attempt to fix the implants position. It failed.
Answer: Looks like "double bubble deformity" - revision surgery recommended There is inferior malposition (bottoming out) of the implant on the tattooed side of the arm and double bubble deformity caused by this. Current implant should be removed through the inframammary fold scar, the capsule in the excess space should be separated to make a flap to support the implant, the excess space should be closed, and then corrective surgery performed to insert a new implant to improve the shape and symmetry.

Answer: Double Bubble Any surgeon attempting to correct your problem, implant dropout, with an in office procedure is inexperienced or just simply wishful. Worse, doing any breast implant work in a less than ideal environment puts you at risk for infection of capsular contracture. You need a surgeon who can perform an internal bra', which will reposition the implant higher on the chest wall and bring the native inframammary fold down. Truth be told this implant is too large for that breast. The reason it didn't happen on the other side is because it started with a shorter nipple to fold distance than the other breast.

Answer: Problem The basic problem is that your 600 cc implant is too large and heavy for your tissue to support. The weight of such a heavy implant is pushing down below your breast. You need to go down to a much smaller implant that your tissue can support.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear DismantledBeauty, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Breast implant revision HI DismantledBeauty, excellent question. I think the implant position can be improved with a revision. It looks like there's some rippling on the bottom of the right breast, and your implant may have descended (below that scar). When the implant drops down, the nipple tends to rotate under. This can be fixed with a procedure in the operating room. You may need an internal bra placed, which is a dissolvable mesh that would support the implant and hold it in good position. Hope that helps.
