Hi, I had my BA 2 weeks ago and had 275 cc anatomical implants because I am thin and this is my initial breast augmentation surgery. The consultation, hospital and post-op care were all good and I was comfortable with my surgeon. But my question is do my breasts look good and will the shape still improve or is this it? The skin is still a little shiny and the silicone textured cohesive implants are now softer.
Answer: BA 2 weeks post-op Anatomical Implants (photo) Thank you for your question and for sharing your photograph. It looks as if you have obtained a very nice result. Though anatomical implants do not "drop" to the same degree as round implants, you will see some continued changes to your breasts as swelling resolves and the overlying skin stretches to accommodate your increased volume. Hope this helps.

Answer: 2 weeks post-op from breast augmentation You appear to have a good result at only 2 weeks after your augmentation. Anatomical shaped implants are also textured implants and will not drop the same as smooth round implants, so do not expect too much change in position. Everything looks good at present.

Answer: 2 weeks post op, some advices: Thanks for the question. Its too early to talk about final results. In my practice, after performing a BA I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol.-

Answer: Breast Augmentation/ Breast Implants/ Anatomic Gummy Bear Implants/Silicone Implants/Revision Breast Surgery I appreciate your question. Right now, you are very early on in the post op recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for you to physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are many variables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop size and shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patients heal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a different rate. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Express your concerns to your surgeon so he/she can examine you. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Breast Augmentation - Time to Settle Breast implants always sit a little bit too high when they are first placed. With time, as the muscle relaxes and as gravity takes effect they will settle and your skin will adapt to accommodate them. The texture implants, and especially the anatomic ones, drop less than smooth implants. Most implants take approximately three months to fully settle - essentially what you have at three months is likely what your final result will look like.Your photos show that you are off to a very good start. The overall shape and symmetry look good and it is a nice size for your frame. You have some mild nipple asymmetry, in that you left nipple sits very slightly higher than your right. You probably had that preoperatively. I would imagine that these will settle nicely, not drop too much lower, the skin will relax a bit with time and become less shiny and you will be quite happy with this result.
