When is it safe to wear a waist trainer post breast augmentation? (photos)

Question

I am currently 7.5 weeks breast augmentation. I got 500 ccs mentor memory gel HP under the Muscle on March 18. With a lowering of the breast fold, axillary incisions. Is it safe to wear a waist trainer now? My left has been a little higher than the right, at 6 weeks dr said he didn't think it would even out, and that it was only a mm difference. Im not too concerned about that but I do notice slight tenting with and without trainer (Moreso when it's on) will trainer affect final outcome?

I don't know if a waist trainer will affect your final results since it does put pressure on the lower pole of the breasts. However, try it out and if it is painful stop and don't wear it.

Hi  SxthreeThanks for your questions.  This is very dependent on multiple factors.  You have a healing incision where the trainer will put pressure and may still have some ongoing swelling.  The implants have not "dropped" completely yet (usually takes about 4 months for full settling to be complete).  Wearing a trainer could definitely effect your long-term result. For the majority of my patients, I recommend that they do not even wear an under-wire bra until a minimum of 6 weeks after their surgery.  This is a question that you should discuss with the surgeon who performed your procedure - they would have the information necessary to give you the most complete answer to your question. Uneven breasts should be your main focus right now as you can message the side that is higher aggressively to encourage it to drop down. Don't have any experience regarding waist trainers.
