Dr. Boyd provided an Incredible experience.- very accommodating, kind and professional. I would highly recommend her and her team. The pre-appointment was very informative and she gave great advice and recommendations, I was very pleased with my entire experience.

I first met Dr. Boyd because she treated my ganglion cyst and she was amazing, down to earth and completely put me at ease. I had confidence in her surgical skills and it was finally time to see her for a consultation regarding my breasts. I have never been happy with the position and shape of my breasts. She was very understanding and knowledgeable during the consultation and she recommended a Mastopexy. I am 100 % confident with her and I am so excited to go ahead with my surgery. Like most women with asymmetry I have spent most of my adult life dressing or disguising my breasts. I have lived with a good 2 cup size difference between my large and small breasts, so neither side ever was properly supported. I am almost 5'10" mid 150's and have worn a 32F or G for the past 10 years. My wonderful surgeon in Ottawa, Dr. Kirsty Boyd, was a great fit for me and highly recommended by a mutual friend. Once I made this decision, I never had a flicker of hesitation. I am posting this review almost 5 weeks after my surgery. Each week had it's own challenges and visible improvements. For me, week 1 was all about trying to figure out how to sleep on my back and slightly propped up. I didn't take the pain killers prescribed. I did take Advil & Aleve though. Week 2 I had figured out the sleep, but was finding it challenging to not over exert or lift weight. At this point it was December in Canada. Someone had to shovel the snow.....but I leaned on friends and neighbours a bit! Week 3 the swelling was really getting under control and my breasts were starting to take form. At this stage I was also well over living in a sports bra 24/7 and lived for the 30 minutes a day I was out of the constraint and in the shower. Oh the freedom! Week 4 the breast dropped and were in a more natural "end" position. I think this is where you can actually start to see what the end result will end up looking like. I also started back at Spin classes again week 4 so I was finally able to burn off some steam. I can't start lifting weights though until week 6.
