Hi. It is hard to say but I would be willing to guess that would put you into a full D cup size range as you look like you are likely a fairly full B cup currently. In general that is a fairly common size range that you are considering and certainly seems reasonable based on your picture. I would recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon with good experience with breast augmentation. It would be helpful likely for you to try on sizers to get a general idea as well. Good luck and take care, Dr. Howell
Breast augmentation, sometimes referred to as a "breast aug" or "boob job" by patients, involves using breast implants or fat transfer to increase the size of your breasts. This procedure can also restore breast volume lost after weight reduction or pregnancy, achieve a more rounded breast shape or improve natural breast size asymmetry.
Subglandular placement is accomplished by positioning the implant under the breast glands, but on top of the chest muscles. Very few breast augmentation patients have enough breast tissue to permit a subglandular augmentation. It is not unreasonable to increase the size by about 10% due to compressive forces if breasts implants are not placed over the muscle. Submuscular is a better choice for a number of reasons including reduced risk of capsular contracture, better longevity, and greater implant coverage. There is no correlation between cup sizes and number of cc's. Bra manufacturers do not follow the same sizing specifications.
At size 34, each 100 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. 375 cc implants would take you up almost 4 cup sizes to size F. Implants this large are mechanically unstable and will most likely lead to complications. Implants this large will not fit retro-pectorally and will descend inferiorly and laterally requiring revision. I strongly recommend you consider small implants or fat transfers.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Hello, thank you for the question. The size you gonna have after surgery depends, exactly exactly this is hard to know. But I guess you could get a C full or D size. Hope this helps.Dr. Luis Mejia.
After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of former patients with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size breast implant is right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the implants have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Thanks for your question and the photos. While not exact estimates are usually about 200cc to a cup size. So 375 migh be almost two cup sizes. Unfortunately predicting exact cup size is hard becuse people measure differently in the world. Example: Victorias secret generally tells everyone they are larger than they really are,so perceptions of cup size can vary widely. In my own practice I rarely focus on A,B,C, but focus on person size, hip and shoulder size and goals. I find it helpful for my patients to try on actual implants in a testing bra. Perhaps your PS can arrange that for you.I have attaced sizing faq below as well.Best wishes. Hope it helps.
Sizing of bras is very manufacturer dependent so its hard to say what bra size you would be. I find it useful for patients to bring in pictures of what they want their breasts to look like post op so I'll know what I'm shooting for.Hope this helps,Dr. Tucker
Dear Thrifty586260,breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Unfortunately there is no direct correlation between implant cc size and breast size and I would choose the implants that offer you the best visual look when trying them on in your surgeon’s office. From numbers alone I would expect you to have around a full D cup. Hope this helps.
