Would a hot compress effect under eye/tear trough filler?

I am looking into getting tear trough filler as I have very hollow under eyes. But I have chronic dry eye so have to apply a hot compress twice a day, would this effect/ruin the results of this procedure?

Using hot compresses under the eyes should not affect tear trough fillers.  The heat will not ruin the results.

No. In my professional opinion, when getting the tear trough for the under eye area injected you should be just fine to apply a hot compress as usual as long as there is no pressure applied to the treated area. Making sure there is no pressure applied will prevent any possible movement of filler injected. Good luck!

The warmth from the compress may slightly increase swelling right after the procedure, but there wouldn’t be any long term issues. Best of luck!

No, it wouldn't affect the procedure. But if you do have allergies, it could affect the procedure if you are prone to itchy watery eyes.

A hot compress should not impact the results of your filler treatment.  You may want to wait at least 24 hours before using the compress to avoid increased swelling and bruising.

I wouldn’t recommend doing it immediately after the filler injection but you could resume the next day with no untoward effects.  I am uncertain why compresses rather than eye drops are the preferred method of treatment for dry eye.
