I have heard tear trough fillers are very good at reducing the appearance of dark circles. I would like more advice to see whether or not if this treatment would be the best for me.
Answer: Tear Trough Filler Hi there! Thank you for your question. Tear trough filler can be a great solution for dark circles and hollowness under the eyes and works by subtly plumping the skin from underneath. The amount of product required varies from person to person so this would really need to be discussed during a consultation. It’s really important to find a practitioner with medical expertise and experience so take the time to do your research and schedule a consultation before going ahead with treatment. I hope this helps! Best Wishes, Dr. Rupert

Answer: Candidate for tear trough filler Based on your photos, it appears you would be a very good candidate for tear trough fillers. This procedure places small amounts of dermal filler under the eye to create subtle volume and reduce the discoloration. I usually start with about .5-1ml on each side and then slowly add more if necessary. It is better to start with less and add more than overfill the area. Make sure you are working with a provider who is very experienced in this procedure to ensure a safe a successful treatment.

Answer: How much filler? The wonderful thing about fillers is that you can go slowly until you achieve the look you desire. Visit with an expert injector for an in person evaluation. Typically 0.5ml-1ml per side is a good starting point. If a touch up is needed you can add more. Addressing the cheek at the same time will give a better overall result.

Answer: Dark Circle Filler Though an in person exam would be necessary for exact advice, it appears that you would do well with 1-1.5 ml of Juvederm Voluma per side placed under the orbital ligament on the bone. Make sure you see an experienced plastic surgeon expert in this area.
