Using fillers in scalp for lifting affect? Will this damage my hair follicles? (Photo)

I have done this with fat transfer which actually can even be good for hair follicles!

If the filler is placed properly it should not be an issue though in my experience.

It's all about volume in the right places!

Hi love, Unfortunately scalp filler is not something that is mainstream or typical for the desired result you are looking to achieve. You are correct in having concern for your hair follicles with this type of injection. I would recommend visiting a local injector in your area so that you can discuss your goals and weigh the risks and benefits to botox and/or fillers.

I'm not sure that fillers are the best choice for what you are hoping to achieve. Botox is the more common choice to help soften wrinkles on the forehead. You could also consider FaceTite which is a procedure that can tighten loose skin up to 40%. It does not require general anesthesia either. Seeing you for a face to face examination would be best however based on these photos I would agree that restoring volume in key areas such as the temple and cheek would be a good place to help lift. Alongside this we would also used energy based devices such as Ultracel to lift, tighten and stimulate new collagen, best wishes
