Can fillers increase interocular eye pressure?

Question

I am interested in getting fillers on the temples and cheek areas, but I am hesitant because my IOP is on the high range. Should I avoid fillers if I am at risk of getting glaucoma? Thanks!

Fillers should not impact your IOP. Make sure you work with a very experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who is aware of your medical history. This step will ensure your treatment is both safe and successful.

there is no increased pressures or risk of glaucoma with fillers around the eyes. use cannula injections to limit eye complications and deep needle injection into the temples themselves. also start derma rolling MTS 0.25 roller plus anteagemd ampules and EMERAGESKIN re-fit eye for this area with lasers. As far as I know there are no studies correlating filler in the temples and cheeks with increased IOP.

Fillers should not be injected behind the eye or between the muscles surrounding the globe where they are at risk to migrate into vessels, cause blindness, or cause an increase in intraocular pressure.
