I’m 32 but conscious of my undereye area,I have visible veins that look like undereye circles (been to a London Vein clinic for laser but had no effect, they were too small to remove surgically).I have slight excess upper eyelid skin.If I use my finger to pull the skin next to my eye it creates the look I long for.It displaces the veins so they don’t accentuate dark circles&lifts the eye area.I don’t want to change my brow position. Maybe a small incision just above the ear to tighten the skin??

Answer: Eyelid surgery Although you are on the young side eyelid surgery may be appropriate in your situation. Of course can’t tell without photos. I usually perform a standard eyelid lift. Midface lift and canthopexy can give an artificial look. I know they are all the rage these days but I don’t think they are that great and have seen problems.

Answer: Under eye treatment Hi there, Thanks for your question. If you don't desire any changes to your brow position, I'd urge you to stay away from any sort of temple lift since this will ultimately manipulate the tail of your brows to some extent. Generally speaking, under eye veins are hard to treat, but if this problem is caused by a volume deficit then a lower eyelid lift (AKA "lower eyelid blepharoplasty") may be a solution for the dark circles while simultaneously lifting the under eye area (similar to what you are likely doing with your finger). A canthopexy is a procedure that can be done at the same time as the lower eyelid lift which will also act to support the lower eyelid. Without seeing a photograph of your lower eyelid position and feeling the strength and tone of your lower eyelids it is hard to know if a canthopexy alone will be enough to achieve the look you desire. Often times I've found that in addition to canthal support with a canthopexy, that muscular support is also required to fully support the lower eyelid. Finally, while a midface lift will help improve the lower eyelid-cheek junction, this is likely not the best solution for your under eye, which will be much better addressed with a procedure directly on that area. Best of luck!
