Dr, please could you tell why my face is so badly scarred since sculptra injections in 2012? I have lumps in my eye, as well as complete irregularity in right cheek? Does this terrible scarring get better? Why has it disfigured me so badly? I attach pictures of sculptra scarring as well as normal sidecar face that is not so scarred? Kind regards G Gray

Sculptra is generally injected in the subcutaneous tissues, above the muscles, but away from the skin as well. It can also be placed right up against the facial bones below the the muscle layer of the face. It's a safe and effective product.Best wishes. Dr. ALDO
Since I do quite a bit of Sculptra injections, I recommend you ask the injector MD first.. I see no issues to do these external therapies now. But if you want wait about 10 days to be safe.
