Sculptra is generally injected in the subcutaneous tissues, above the muscles, but away from the skin as well. It can also be placed right up against the facial bones below the the muscle layer of the face. It's a safe and effective product.Best wishes. Dr. ALDO
Sculptra is injected into the deeper tissues of the face, like in cheeks or temples. The deeper injections give a smooth, natural correction with less risk of a nodule or bump forming when Sculptra is placed just underneath the skin. Sculptra is a great product for improving facial volume and collagen building, but for best results, I recommend using it in a combination depending on desired results. I combine Sculptra with other fillers, lasers, toxins and skin care to give immediate results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Sculptra is injected deep into the skin on top of the bone. This helps to achieve natural-looking and beautiful results. Over time, it stimulates collagen growth for gradual improvement.
Sculptra is injected deep underneath the skin or on top of bone and gives a gradual, smooth and natural looking result. I use Sculptra as a facial volumizer and not a line or wrinkle filler. For lines and wrinkles, I usually layer hyaluronic acid based fillers such as Restylane on top of the Sculptra.
Sculptra is typically injected deep under the skin or just on top of the bone to give smooth natural looking results. It is not used for correcting lines or wrinkles but for re-volumizing the cheeks and temples. Over time however, it does have the effect of improving the surface appearance of the skin. Since it works by generating new collagen growth, it is not an overnight fix and does not work same way as other fillers. Typically the injections are done in a series of 3 or 4 about 6 weeks apart and then once a year or so for maintenance. Best.
Since I do quite a bit of Sculptra injections, I recommend you ask the injector MD first.. I see no issues to do these external therapies now. But if you want wait about 10 days to be safe.
Thank you for your question. There should be no problem with having Sculptra Aesthetic injected 4 months out from your fat transfer and you are far enough out that massaging the areas should not be a problem. As for volume created by Sculptra, there is variability person to person. In general,...
Sculptra takes many weeks to cause any volume increase. See your treating physician right away for advice. Don't do anything else without sound medical advice from someone who sees you up close.
