Answer: Sculptra Injections--Combine with fillers, toxins, lasers, skin care for best results Sculptra is injected into the deeper tissues of the face, like in cheeks or temples. The deeper injections give a smooth, natural correction with less risk of a nodule or bump forming when Sculptra is placed just underneath the skin. Sculptra is a great product for improving facial volume and collagen building, but for best results, I recommend using it in a combination depending on desired results. I combine Sculptra with other fillers, lasers, toxins and skin care to give immediate results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Depth of Sculptra injections Sculptra is injected deep underneath the skin or on top of bone and gives a gradual, smooth and natural looking result. I use Sculptra as a facial volumizer and not a line or wrinkle filler. For lines and wrinkles, I usually layer hyaluronic acid based fillers such as Restylane on top of the Sculptra.

Answer: Sculptra Sculptra is typically injected deep under the skin or just on top of the bone to give smooth natural looking results. It is not used for correcting lines or wrinkles but for re-volumizing the cheeks and temples. Over time however, it does have the effect of improving the surface appearance of the skin. Since it works by generating new collagen growth, it is not an overnight fix and does not work same way as other fillers. Typically the injections are done in a series of 3 or 4 about 6 weeks apart and then once a year or so for maintenance. Best.
