How long does it take a reaction to Neosporin to go away? 11 days post op.

daisychainlady
I had a lip lift 11 days ago & was applying neosporin to the incision post op multiple times a day. I seem to have had an allergic reaction as the skin around the incision is red & irritated, even though I stopped using it 5 days ago. My PS swapped me to vaseline & gave me steroid cream apply before bed which I have used for 3 nights. I’m also taking an oral antihistamine. How long will this take to go down? I worried that my healing is being impacted by this, or that it's something worse.
