Will this ever heal? I have an appointment to go and see the vascular surgeon on Tuesday who performed the treatment what will I ask her to do ? I have spent over 5 thousand pounds with the private clinic of Harley street in London and am devastated at this outcome. I reall need some help with this . Kind regards Marianne

This is  postsclerotherapy skin necrosis and will result in an ulceration.  I would recommend debridemont of the unhealthy tissue followed by local wound care.

There is a small and risk of blisters or ulcers following sclerotherapy that cannot be totally predicted or avoided.  Most of these ulcers will heal well, but may leave a small scar.

Thank you for your question and for showing the pic.It should heal nicely if you don't develop a superimposed infection. Place neosporin and be vigilant about redness around the wound or red streaks (cellulitis) ...
