Will this ever heal? I have an appointment to go and see the vascular surgeon on Tuesday who performed the treatment what will I ask her to do ? I have spent over 5 thousand pounds with the private clinic of Harley street in London and am devastated at this outcome. I reall need some help with this . Kind regards Marianne

I'd suggest using a pulsed dye or yag laser to treat unwanted blood vessels.  Many times electrosis can leave some hyperpigmentation from the heat generated with treatment.

To prevent unnecessary scarring, I would recommend that these wounds be treated with topical and oral antibiotics. As for treating the spider veins.... laser therapy with a 532nm wavelength would be the treatment of choice. You would require one to two sessions. My ExcelV laser is the workhorse...

Nasal veins in a 5 year old is certainly not something that I commonly see.  A better picture would be helpful but from what I can see, the options for treatment would be laser or sclerotherapy.  You would need to see someone with experience treating children with this kind of a vein problem.

Both the q Switch and the picoway lasers help with hemosiderin staining. Sometimes topical creams such as dermaka and licorice extract topically will help.  Most importantly, a large portion of staining will spontaneously resolve over about one year.
