It is normal to shed transplanted hairs weeks after surgery.  The new hairs may take 6 to 12 months to grow.  If you feel you have scarring it is best to follow up with your doctor.

Thanks for posting your photo and question. A transplanted follicular unit is placed into a slit. The transplanted hair falls out anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months after the procedure. New, permanent hair will start to grow 4-6 months after the procedure. In your case, the scalp appears with the normal range. You just need time. If you are concerned, you can always go to your hair transplant doctor for a check-up. Best of luck!

the transplanted hair shaft will seperate from the follicles. The hair shaft falls off with the scabs after a couple of weeks. The hair follicles remain under the skin and start to grow in after a few months. It may take up to a year for all the transplanted hair to grow in.
