40 micron hair caliber, hair transplant and implant density (grafts per cm2). I have fine hair, approximately 40 microns and I’m considering a hair transplant. Is there a correlation between fine hair and higher densities in people with fine hair? Ie would the donor area generally have a higher capacity? Also, what would be a recommended density to aim for in the transplanted area with fine hair as such?
