Hi, I'm exactly 6 months post op and am pleased with the results so far. My only concern is that after I shower in the morning my hair takes forever to air dry. Is it really ok to rub my head with a towel? I heard someone say it can damage the new hair if you rub very hard with a towel everyday. The last thing I want is my new hair to go sparse

Yes its fine. It would be difficult to rub grafts out by way of a bath towel at six months. Carry on.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  After about two weeks you can resume normal activities.  This means (at 6 months) rubbing your head with a towel should not be an issue.

Jogging, running, sauna, cycling or rubbing hair with towel etc don't give any harm after 2 weeks of operation .

Yes. It is completely ok to towel massage your hair at this stage. Of course, if you are too aggressive you could damage the shaft of the hair; but you could not pull out the hair bulbs.

By six months, you should certainly be ale to towel dry your hair normally.  You are no more likely to damage the grafts than you are to damage your native hair at this point.

Everything is normal and you can rub your hair after you wash it but as a rule, never be rough if you have hair that is still falling out
