Can you use hair fibres after FUE transplant? 3 weeks post-op.

Question

It’s been 3 weeks since I had my FUE transplant and my doctor said to wait 4 weeks. Is it still ok after that to use fibres? It won’t block the follicles from growing?

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  At this stage you can use hair fibers.

We suggest to our patients to wait 4 weeks post-op before using hair fibres. However, please consult the physician who performed your surgery, and he will advise you accordingly.

If all of the crusts are off of your recipient area and you are three weeks after the transplant, then the use of hair fibers is fine
