Dear eve100~Thanks for your quesiton At 3 months the majority of your wound healing has already occurred. However, the scar can still stretch if placed under tension. Of course it's not possible to completely avoid moving the lip altogether, but I would generally recommend avoiding any activities that result in noticeable tension on the wound.
