I am a male with long hair and good hairline but it is thin and I always suffered from thin hair and my scalp being visible. I want to get SMP for a while to add density to my hair. I want to get it starting from 0.3inch (7.5mm) behind my hairline to my crown area. But many technicians told me that the ink will not look natural on the temple area, keep in mind that I will not do my hairline just behind it. So is it ok to do SMP on my temple area?

Answer: Pigment contrast with your skin complexion It´s impossible to say without clear images. But one factor is going to be the contrast between your skin complexion and the pigment tone used. It maybe simply the pigment stands out too much from the surrounding hair and looks unnatural. Basically does not add to the look of fullness just sits there. If the case you may consider starting the pigment further back within your existing hair as an option.

Answer: SMP on temple I prefer not to SMP temples unless we are creating a shaved effect. In that case and if you have lost your temporal hair you have no choice but to recreate the temporal hairline with SMP.

Answer: SMP at the temples SMP can be used as a density fill at your temples with very good results. A talented practitioner should be able to apply the pigment in a subtle way that enhances your temples without looking out of balance with the rest of your hairline.
