Buccal fat or lower face lift? Or both?

Hello, I've recently had a chin implant and next liposuction. I've always had heavy lower cheeks, almost like pouches which I hate. Mum and her mother have them... I was wondering if Buccal fat would help or a lower face lift with or without Buccal fat removal? I hate my cheeks and really want something done. I'm 36 and been like this since mid 20's. Inherited. Thoughts appreciated :)

Patient in the mid 30s tend to have fullness of the anterior lower cheeks as well as sagging of the skin in the jaw line. These physical findings could very often be improved with both buccal fat removal and cheek enhancement with either fillers or implants.
Buccal fat removal eliminates the excess of fullness of the lower cheeks.
Cheek enhancement with either fillers or implants, "lifts" the skin and helps to address the lower face skin sagging. Facelift in the 30s is not recommended since scars tend of be very visible.

Thank you for your pictures.  You actually have quite a few different options available for you.  Buccal fat pad reduction can help improve the contour of your cheeks and jawline - however, a good physical exam is needed in order to determine whether or not you are a good candidate for it.  An easy exercise to see how good of a result you may get is to do the following - gently suck your cheeks in such that you can just begin to bite the inside with your teeth. That can give you a decent idea of how well you would respond to buccal fat pad reduction. Another option available is ThermiRF - its not as aggressive as buccal fat pad reduction, but for those patients who simply have overlying jowls, one treatment with this I have found can help dramatically improve the area over time.  I hope some of this helps!
